  Hello friend! So, what’s a spinel? I often get asked this question about a certain stone a customer has never heard of before and I’m never sure how to answer. What info can I offer that would help someone feel better acquainted with a stone?  Are they interested in the geology or history, the hardness, or how it relates to other similar stones?
