JEWELRY INFO & CARE:

Myth and Stone jewelry is made with recycled de-ox sterling silver (which is meant to slow the process of tarnishing), recycled gold, and bronze. When you do find your silver or gold jewelry in need of cleaning, you can soak in water and gentle soap and use a soft toothbrush. Cleaning cloths can also be used that are made for cleaning jewelry. To clean brass jewelry you can also use a mild soap, or try using a non gel toothpaste. Always be careful with stones when cleaning jewelry, especially softer stones such as turquoise(which should not be soaked but rather wiped with a damp cloth and dried) and opal which can get wet but scratches easily. Never expose opals to hot water either, they can change color or clarity.

Open cuff style bracelets should be adjusted very gently, too much back and forth opening and closing can cause metal to become brittle. Always remove jewelry before exercising, using cleaning products, showering, and sleeping. And please be mindful of how jewelry is stored, taking care not to let stones and metals of different hardnesses to be tossed together. Your jewelry should last a long time with proper care.

SHIPPING: 

The Myth and Stone studio is a small operation and all of the jewelry is handmade, so delivery times may vary. In stock jewelry will ship within 7 days of purchase. Though I do try to keep a small inventory of made to order items in stock, these items could take 4-6 weeks to create and ship from date of purchase. If you need something sooner, don’t hesitate to message me (hello@mythandstone.com) and I will try to accommodate. All items are shipped domestically via USPS and will include a tracking number and insurance. If you are local (i.e. if you live in New Orleans) and you would like to arrange an order pick up or possible local delivery to forgo delivery charges, please include a note at checkout and I will contact you to see if this can be arranged--if so I will refund the shipping amount. International orders are sent via UPS or DHL, also with a tracking number and insurance. Please note that international orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and other fees imposed by the destination country. These fees are not included in shipping costs and are the responsibility of the buyer. Myth and Stone has no responsibility towards any additional charges that may apply. 

RETURNS:

Due to the small handmade nature of the business, I am not able to accept returns. Please make sure to read all pertinent info before purchasing, such as sizing and availability. However, if you receive an item that is defective or in need of repair, please return it within 7 days of receiving. Will repair or replace at no cost, though the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.  Please insure package as necessary to cover the cost of the items. If repairs are needed beyond 30 days from receiving, please contact to discuss repair costs.
